Chebulinic acid（诃子酸，诃子林鞣酸）是一种天然的M. tuberculosis DNA gyrase抑制剂（M. tuberculosis DNA回旋酶抑制剂），可以抑制SMAD-3 phosphorylation（SMAD-3磷酸化）和H+ K+-ATPase的活性。Chebulinic acid也是一种抗血管生成剂，通过VEGF通路发挥抑制作用。
