The urokinase-type Plasminogen Activator (uPA) is one of two activators that converts the extracellular zymogen plasminogen to plasmin, a serine protease that is involved in a variety of normal and pathological processes that require cell migration and/or tissue destruction.Both the scuPA and tcuPA bind with high-affinity to the cell surface via the glycosyl phosphatidylinositol-linked receptor uPAR which serves to localize the uPA proteolytic activity.

Source	Recombinant Human uPAR/PLAUR Protein is expressed from Expi293 with His tag and Avi tag at the C-terminal. It contains Leu23-Gly305.
Molecular Weight	The protein has a predicted MW of 34.36 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 50-60 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Purity	> 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC.
Endotoxin	< 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation	Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended . Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

The products are shipped with dry ice and can be stored at -25~-15℃ for 1 year.

2-7 days, 2 ~ 8 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 months,  -25~-15℃ under sterile conditions after reconstitution.

Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
