Glypicans (GPC) are a family of heparan sulfate proteoglycans that are attached to the cell surface by a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchor. Six members of this family have been identified in mammals (GPC1-GPC6). Glypican 3 is a potential therapeutic target for treating liver cancer and other cancers. Several therapeutic anti-GPC3 antibodies have been developed.

Source	Recombinant Biotinylated Human GPC3/Glypican 3 Protein is expressed from HEK293 Cells with His tag at the C-terminal. It contains Gln25-His559.
Molecular Weight	The protein has a predicted MW of 61.6 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 42 kDa, 70-115 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Purity	> 95% as determined by Tris-Bis PAGE and HPLC.
Endotoxin	< 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation	Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 5% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL` is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

The products are shipped with ice pack and can be stored at -20℃ for 1 year.

2-7 days, 2 to 8 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
3 -6 months, -20 to -80°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.

Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
