Thrombopoietin (Tpo), is a key regulator of megakaryocytopoiesis and thrombopoiesis.TPO is a lineage-specific growth factor produced in the liver, kidney and skeletal muscle. It stimulates the proliferation and maturation of megakaryocytes, and promotes increased circulating levels of platelets in vivo. TPO signals through the c-mpl receptor, and acts as an important regulator of circulating platelets.

Source	Mouse TPO Protein is expressed from HEK293 without tag. It contains Ser22-Thr356.
Molecular Weight	The protein has a predicted 35.6 kDa
Purity	> 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Biological Activity	Measured in a cell proliferation assay using MO7e human megakaryocytic leukemic cells. The EC50 for this effect is 0.04-2.4 ng/mL.
Endotoxin	< 0.01 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation	Dissolved in sterile PBS buffer. This solution can be diluted into other aqueous buffers. Centrifuge the vial prior to opening.

The product should be stored at -85~-65℃ for 1 year from date of receipt.

Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities when first used and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
