CD22, a molecule belonging to the SIGLEC family of lectins, is a B-cell restricted glycoprotein that is expressed in the cytoplasm of progenitor B and pre-B cells and on the surface of mature B cells. CD22 functions as an inhibitory receptor for B cell receptor (BCR) signaling.

Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities when first used and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
