BCMA, B cell maturation antigen, is a member of the TNF receptor superfamily.(TNFRSF17).  BCMA and TACI have both been shown to bind to APRIL and BAFF, members of the TNF ligand superfamily. BCMA expression has been found in immune organs and mature B cell lines.The binding of BCMA to APRIL or BAFF has been shown to stimulate IgM production in peripheral blood B cells and increase the survival of cultured B cells.

Source	Recombinant Human BCMA/TNFRSF17 Trimer Protein is expressed from HEK293  Cells with His tag and Avi tag at the C-terminal. It contains Met1-Ala54.
Molecular Weight	The protein has a predicted MW of 29.5 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 30-48 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Purity	> 95% as determined by Tris-Bis PAGE and HPLC.
Endotoxin	< 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation	Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 5% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/ml` is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

The products are shipped with ice pack and can be stored at -20℃ for 1 year.

2-7 days, 2 to 8 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.

3 -6 months, -20 to -80°C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.

Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
