B7-1 is a member of the cell surface immunoglobulin superfamily. CD80 is mainly expressed on the surface of activated B cells, macrophages, dendritic cells and other antigen-presenting cells. B7-1 and B7-2 form co-stimulatory ligands that can interact with the co-stimulatory receptor CD28 expressed on T cells and cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 (CTLA-4). When interacting with CD28, it is generally used for self-regulation and intercellular binding; When interacting with CTLA-4, it is used to regulate attenuation and cell separation. CD80 plays a role in inducing congenital immune response by activating the NF-κb signaling pathway in macrophages. Therefore, CD80 is considered a promising therapeutic target for autoimmune diseases and various cancers.

Source	Recombinant Human B7-1 Protein is expressed from HEK293 Cells with His tag at the C-terminal. It contains Val35-Asn242.
Molecular Weight	The protein has a predicted MW of 25.8 kDa. And it migrates as 33 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
Purity	> 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin	<0.1 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation	Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4).
Reconstitution	Centrifuge tubes before opening. The concentration of protein solution used for lyophilization is generally 1mg/mL. Dissolve lyophilized protein with sterile water to ensure the concentration is greater than 100 ug/mL.
